How to Disconnect Your Wallet or Log Out
Whether you're using a Cardano wallet (e.g., Vespr, Lace, Typhon, etc.) or a Social Login wallet (e.g., Gmail, WhatsApp, LinkedIn via Web3Auth), the process to disconnect is the same:
Hover over your wallet balance in the top-right corner of JPG Store.
Click "Disconnect Wallet" in the dropdown menu if using a Cardano wallet or "Log Out" if using a Social Login wallet.
Your wallet will be disconnected and you can now browse the store with no wallet connected.
How to Clear Your Wallet’s DApp Allowlist (Whitelist)
Cardano wallets maintain a DApp allowlist (or whitelist), which keeps track of decentralized applications (DApps) you’ve approved for wallet interaction. Removing JPG Store from this list means your wallet will no longer automatically connect, requiring authorization when you want to connect with the site again.
Steps to Clear the Allowlist in Most Wallets
Open your wallet settings in the extension or mobile app.
Locate the section labelled DApp Allowlist, Whitelist, or Authorized Sites (terminology varies by wallet).
Find the entry for "https://jpg.store" or JPG Store and remove it.
Some wallets allow removal of individual DApps.
Others only provide an option to clear all DApps.
The next time you visit JPG Store your wallet will not automatically reconnect to the site and you will again need to connect your wallet and grant the JPG store website access.
Why Clear the DApp Allowlist?
Security: Prevents automatic connections to DApps you no longer use.
Troubleshooting: Helps fix wallet connection issues when JPG Store fails to connect.
Reset Permissions: Allows you to re-approve JPG Store manually, ensuring full control over wallet connections.
Note: If you're experiencing connection issues, clearing the allowlist is a recommended step. For more details, check Troubleshooting Wallet Connection Issues on JPG Store.
