Important: Back Up Your Wallet ⚠️

Before updating or making any changes to your wallet, ensure you have securely backed up your seed phrase. This is essential to avoid losing access to your funds in case of any issues.

Why Update Your Cardano Wallet?

Keeping your Cardano wallet up-to-date is crucial for:

  • Security: Regular updates often include security patches to protect your funds.

  • Performance: Newer versions can offer improved speed and efficiency.

  • New Features: Updates may introduce new features and functionalities.

If you're experiencing issues with your wallet or connecting it to the JPG Store, checking for updates is a good first step. While extensions often update automatically, verifying your wallet’s version ensures you’re not encountering issues due to an outdated version.

  2. Access Settings: Navigate to the settings section of your wallet.

  3. Locate Version Number: Look for the version number displayed in the settings. It typically appears as a string of numbers and letters (e.g., v1.12.19).
