Nami Wallet Has Been Discontinued – Here’s What You Need to Know

Nami Wallet, one of the first and most popular Cardano wallets, has officially been discontinued following the Plomin hard fork. As a result, users must now migrate to Lace Wallet, which includes a Nami Mode for a seamless transition.

Why Is Nami Wallet No Longer Available?

  • The original creator, Alessandro Konrad, stepped away from development.

  • Input Output Global (IOG), the team behind Cardano, acquired and maintained Nami Wallet.

  • With Lace Wallet as IOG’s flagship wallet, Nami has now been fully integrated into Lace.

  • As of the latest Cardano upgrade, Nami Wallet no longer works and cannot send transactions or connect to dApps.

You must migrate to Lace Wallet to continue using your Cardano assets.
