Understanding Pending Transactions
When you make a transaction on JPG Store—whether it's buying or selling an NFT—it must be processed and confirmed on the Cardano blockchain. The transaction will first appear as pending in your JPG Store profile activity and on asset pages if it involves an NFT.
Most transactions confirm within a few minutes, but delays can happen due to network congestion or other blockchain-related factors.
⏳ Where to Check Transaction Status: You can view pending transactions in the Activity section of your profile on JPG Store. Additionally, you can click the transaction ID button in the activity history to view its status on Cardanoscan.
What Causes a Transaction to Take a Long Time?
1. Network Congestion
If the Cardano blockchain is experiencing high traffic, transactions may take longer to confirm.
This is more likely during times of high trading volume or major Cardano events.
You can check the current blockchain load percentage using pool.pm. If the load is close to 100%, transactions may take longer to process.
2. Blockchain Synchronization Delays
Sometimes, a transaction may confirm on-chain but take a few extra minutes to reflect on JPG Store due to backend synchronization delays.
How Long Will a Transaction Stay Pending?
A Cardano transaction has a maximum Time-to-Live (TTL), which means if it has not been confirmed within approximately one hour, it will automatically fail and the transaction will not be processed.
🔄 What Happens If a Transaction Fails?
Your ADA or NFTs will not be lost—if the transaction is unsuccessful, it simply does not go through, and your assets remain in your wallet.
You may need to retry the transaction if it fails due to network congestion.

What Should I Do If My Transaction Is Taking Too Long?
1. Check If the Transaction Is Confirmed On-Chain
If your transaction has been pending for a while, use a Cardano blockchain explorer like Cardanoscan to check its status.
You can find the transaction ID by clicking the link in your JPG Store activity history.
2. Wait for the Maximum TTL (Up to 1 Hour)
If your transaction is still pending after one hour, it will fail automatically, and you will need to retry the action.
3. If the Transaction Is Confirmed On-Chain But Not on JPG Store
Sometimes, a transaction successfully confirms on the blockchain but does not update immediately on JPG Store.
If this happens, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.
If the issue persists, contact JPG Store support using the chat box on the bottom right of this page.
