What Is XP?
XP was a rewards system introduced by JPG Store to incentivize trading and marketplace activity. Users could earn XP through eligible transactions, and previously earned XP is still available for conversion to $JPG at jpg.foundation.
Note: XP earning is currently paused, and transactions no longer generate XP.
How XP Was Earned on JPG Store
XP was previously earned through transactions on JPG Store during specific earning periods. The primary ways users could earn XP included:
1. Buying NFTs
Users who purchased an NFT on JPG Store received XP based on the total purchase price.
Higher-value purchases generally yielded more XP.
This applied to direct purchases from NFT listings.
2. Selling NFTs
Users who sold an NFT also earned XP.
XP rewards were calculated based on the final sale price of the NFT.
XP was earned when selling via a direct listing or accepting a collection offer.
3. Accepting Offers & Collection Offers
Sellers who accepted an offer on their NFT earned XP.
Sellers who accepted a collection offer also earned XP.
Some past JPG Store seasons introduced XP multipliers for specific actions, such as increased XP for accepting collection offers.
4. Participating in NFT Lending & Borrowing
In certain past JPG Store seasons, XP was earned through NFT lending and borrowing activities.
These seasons applied XP multipliers to lending transactions, making participation in lending more rewarding for users.
5. Other XP Earning Methods
XP was occasionally distributed for:
Special promotions and events.
Engagement-based rewards (e.g., referrals, challenges).
Exclusive collaborations with projects and communities.
Past XP earning periods had various multipliers applied, increasing XP rewards for specific transaction types depending on the season.
Was XP Earned for Past Transactions Before Seasons Began?
Yes, the XP system considers all your past transaction history on JPG Store, including purchases and sales made before the introduction of XP.
If you traded on a collection before Season 1 that later got labelled a Rugpull, you would still be rewarded the XP for that past activity.
Will XP Earning Return?
JPG Store may introduce new ways to earn XP in the future. To stay updated, check official JPG Store announcements.
