What Is a Collection Flag?
A flag is applied to a collection when it is determined to violate JPG Store’s policies or guidelines, such as being inactive, derivative, or inappropriate. Flags serve to inform users of potential issues with a collection. If you believe your collection has been flagged in error or the situation has changed, you can appeal the flag.
Steps to Appeal a Flag on Your Collection
Understand the Reason for the Flag
Before submitting an appeal, ensure you understand why the flag was applied. JPG Store applies flags based on the Collection Reporting Guidelines. Review these guidelines to assess whether the flag meets the criteria.Prepare Your Appeal
Collect information or evidence supporting your claim that the collection no longer meets the criteria for the flag or that the flag was applied incorrectly. Be clear and concise in your explanation.Contact JPG Store on X
Send a direct message (DM) from your project’s official X (formerly Twitter) account to @jpgstorelist.
In the DM, include:
The name of your collection.
The policy ID of your collection.
A detailed explanation of why the flag is incorrect or no longer applies.
Provide any supporting evidence, such as proof of originality, activity updates, or resolution of previous concerns.
Await a Response
Once your appeal is submitted, the JPG Store team will review your case. The review process may take up to 48-72 hours. Ensure your messages are respectful and provide all necessary information to avoid delays.Follow Up If Needed
If you don’t receive a response within 72 hours, you can send a polite follow-up DM to check on the status of your appeal.
Important Notes
Flags are applied based on thorough evaluations and community reports. Submitting false or misleading appeals may result in further action against your collection.
Resolving a flag does not guarantee immediate reinstatement of all collection privileges, as further review may be required.
By following these steps, you can ensure a proper and fair review of your collection’s status.
