XP is a reward system that tracks and rewards users for their activity on JPG Store.  Purchases and sales from eligible NFT collections earns XP for the participants. For each transaction, buyers earn XP equivalent to the amount they spent in ADA. Sellers earn XP based on the value of the item they sold. Example: NFT is sold for 500 ADA. The buyer receives 500XP and the seller receives 500XP.

A Season is a period of time designated for earning specific rewards and participating on ranked leaderboards based off your activity on JPG.Store. The season leaderboard & seasonal XP will be reset at the beginning of each season.   Season 1 starts on July 10th, ends on August 31st, and its theme is Double XP.  All mechanisms of earning XP during this season will yield double rewards. Season 2 started August 31.

Eligible users can exchange XP for $JPG at the end of each season.  Please visit the JPG Foundation website to verify the total amount of $JPG you have accumulated.

All quests done before August 31 18UTC will count toward Season 1 XP, any quests done after August 31 will count toward Season 2 XP and end date is currently TBA. Earn rewards/XP for activity on JPG  In general, Yes. but there are a few things that mark a collection ineligible for earning XP: Starting with Season 1, You will NOT earn XP on collections that are: Flagged as Rugpull or Inactive Have 0% Royalties (unless collection is whitelisted at bottom of page) Not Verified on JPG.Store All 'ineligible' collections will be clearly flagged with the "NO XP" badge

Yes, the XP system considers all your past transaction history on JPG Store, including purchases and sales made before the introduction of XP.  If you traded on a collection prior to Season 1 that later got labelled a Rugpull, you would still be rewarded the XP for that past activity. 

XP can be converted to $JPG at the end of each Season via the JPG Foundation. The first conversion window will be available sometime after Season 1 ends on August 31st 2023. Claiming information and dates will be provided by JPG Foundation official channels and the JPG Foundation website. Any XP earned after Season 1 ends, will be added to Season 2. More information to come on the details for Season 2.

Yes, your XP progress will be visible on your Rewards Dashboard.  There you can also see your total accumulated XP and track your ranking on the season and all-time leaderboards. 

XP is assigned as the transaction is confirmed on chain. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes, depending upon blockchain load.  XP earned from Zealy Quests are added before the current Season ends - this XP is not updated instantly after completing a quest.

If you did the quests AFTER 8/31 1800 UTC, you will receive your XP after season 2 is over.  If you added your Cardano wallet AFTER 8/31 1800 UTC, you will receive your XP after season 2 is over.  Season 2 end date has yet to be announced.

XP is a personal reward system tied to your individual stake key. It cannot be transferred or traded with other users or other wallets that you might own. 

Only NFT transactions conducted on jpg.store’s Smart Contract will reward you with XP. Any transactions conducted on other marketplaces' smart contracts, current or historical, will not contribute to your XP rewards.  One other way to earn XP is through JPG.store's Zealy Campain which can be found here

Yes. In order to help detect and prevent abuse, wash trading, disingenuous activity, or other malicious activity, profiles reported for engaging in such practices may be flagged, have their XP removed, and no longer earn XP. There will be a simple process for anyone to report suspected wash-trading/abuse, and JPG Store will review every case and decide if action is needed. These actions will be taken with extreme caution, and community input will be considered.

No, you cannot merge multiple wallets XP to impact the leaderboard. XP is tied to the wallets unique stake key. It's recommended to use one wallet for climbing seasonal leaderboards.

There is no limit to the amount of XP you can earn on JPG Store. The more transactions you engage in, the more XP you accumulate and the higher your climb on the leaderboards.

Yes!  If you do the Zealy tasks and you make sure you have set up a Cardano wallet (make sure to use the ones listed here in our help guide ) you will receive XP after the current season ends.  Currently the Season 2 end date hasn't been announced but all activity on JPG and Zealy quests are currently earning XP
