What is fund distribution?
When creating a mint using the JPG Store minting platform, you can choose how the ADA from each mint is distributed across one or more wallets.
This is useful if:
You’re collaborating with others and want to split mint revenue automatically.
You want to send a portion of funds directly to a treasury or multisig wallet.
You’re working with a service provider who takes a percentage of mint proceeds.
You can customize fund distribution within the Collection Dashboard of your project.
How to set up fund distribution
To define your fund distribution on JPG Store:
Go to the Creations tab in your JPG profile.
Select "Mint Setup" for the collection you wish to edit.
In the Collection Dashboard, navigate to Fund Distribution.
Enter one or more wallet addresses and assign a percentage to each.
Ensure that the total equals 100%, you cannot proceed unless it does.
Example
Wallet A: 70% (e.g. artist wallet)
Wallet B: 30% (e.g. project treasury or collaborator)
Note: You can only use valid Cardano wallet addresses (beginning with addr1...
). ADA Handle's or other addresses are not supported for this feature.
Can I change fund distribution after launch?
Yes. You can update your fund distribution at any time even while your mint is live and actively minting.
To make changes:
Go to your Collection Dashboard.
Navigate to the Fund Distribution section.
Edit the wallet addresses or percentage splits as needed.
Save your changes to apply the new distribution immediately.
Note: Changes only affect future mint transactions. Any ADA already distributed before the change will not be adjusted retroactively.
How are funds distributed?
JPG Store automatically splits the ADA from each mint transaction according to your specified percentages. The distribution happens in real-time at the moment of each mint, no manual steps required.
There are no additional fees for using this feature beyond the standard JPG Store minting fee.
Troubleshooting and tips
Double-check wallet addresses for typos.
Avoid using exchange deposit addresses.
All listed wallets must remain valid and accessible. Funds will not be recoverable if sent to a wrong or inaccessible address.
